Block vs Random Practice.

Here's what you need to do for a more effective training session. Doesn't even matter if you are just starting out!
To keep things simple - block drills are when you stand there hitting balls over and over again. This is good improve technique or to learn new movement technique. Random drills are used for you to retain this information allowing you to better remember the motion for your next session or to bring it out on the golf course.
The simplest way to plan your hour of training session on the range.
The first 30mins - focus on technique or whatever your coach ask you to do to improve your golf.
The last 30mins - Random drills. The easiest way is to change clubs after every single shot. If that's too tough, change a target every single shot.
